Away for two weeks with the family for rest northward to precious ground in the Adirondack mountains and Vermont. Last time I discovered the mystery and beauty of the loon. Hope they’re back. I’m grateful for some guest bloggers during my absence.

Enjoy the Loons! We have had a nesting pair in the lake by our Michigan cottage for more than 20 years. What a joy to watch and listen.
